A couple of weeks ago I had the honor to photograph Jessie and Kevin. They were wonderful to work with. And the party was super understanding when I accidentally opened an emergency exit and the alarm went off at the building where they were changing before the ceremony. Granted, someone was going to do it eventually... at least that's what I keep telling myself.
Jessie looked outstandlingly beautiful. The wedding took place at Warner Park in Madison, WI. There were a lot of trees, lots of grass, bubbles, and geese! Kevin mentioned that there might be fireworks at some point. So I waited, and waited... it was time for my assistant and me to leave, and still no fireworks. So I just did what every responsible photographer would do in that situation... stayed later than I was supposed to and waited... with one, maybe two drinks in my hand. At around 10pm, the fireworks showed up in the sky. It was a long day, but extremely rewarding. I hope to shoot more weddings like this.
